Metal Casting
Our Castings Division, located in Nebraska, has the capability to pour and repair custom iron castings from only a few ounces up to a few tons. We produce various mold sizes with green sand molding processes utilizing Hunters, Squeezer, and Rota-Lift systems as well as the Flaskless no bake molding system. We also have the capability to produce oil sand, shell sand, isocure, and no bake cores.
We have our own in-house metallurgical testing as well as heat treat capabilities. We can pour various grades of cast iron according to ASTM standards including gray iron, ductile iron, austempered ductile iron and ni-hard castings. Plus, our new furnaces, which were installed in July 2009, increase production efficiency with faster melt time.
