Job Description: The right individual will work in our Contract Manufacturing Division welding and fabricating. Regularly scheduled for day shift M-F 6:00 AM-2:30 PM with overtime sometimes available. Duties inclue: · Fabricate metal products to specifications from shop drawings including layout, measurement, cutouts · Fabrication, welding, grinders, and finishing devices
Required Experience: · Mig, TIG, Stick, hand held plasma cutters, and torches · Fabrication and fit up of fabricated products from the prints provided · Inspection of parts to ensure that it conforms to specification
Other Job Requirements: · High school diploma and/or vocational technical training · 1-3 years of experience. · Have a mechanical aptitude. · Possess problem solving skills. · Have basic math skills. · Must be detail oriented. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Be enthusiastic and willing to take on responsibility. · Be safety minded. · Use overhead cranes & forklifts to move materials. . · Ability to read Prints/Drawings · General computer knowledge
