Experienced Metal Foundry

Sioux City Foundry is an experienced Metal Foundry, in operation for over 140 years. One of the oldest continuously operating foundries in the United States, Sioux City Foundry is a modern ductile iron, austempered ductile iron and ni-hard iron casting foundry. Located in the South Sioux City, Nebraska, we supply customers in the Midwest, across the country, and around the world with best-in-class products, services and results.

Although our customers come from diverse sectors, such as industrial, engineering, decorative, architectural, and government, they share a need for high quality products, competitive pricing, and quick order turn-around. Our experienced and knowledgeable staff, combined with our modern production methods, including new furnaces installed in 2009, allows us to provide our customers with a level of service and support of a best in class Metal Foundry.

We have the capability to pour custom castings from a few ounces to 3,000 pounds. We produce various mold sizes with green sand molding processes utilizing Hunter, Squeezer, and Rota-Lift systems, as well as the Flaskless no-bake molding system. We also have the capability to produce oil sand, shell sand, isocure, and no-bake cores.

In addition to custom metal castings, we offer in-house metallurgical testing, heat-treating and specialty products, such as Pile Drive Hammers, Follow Blocks and Breaker Balls.
