Expert Iron Castings

Cast gray iron has been produced in a variety of forms for thousands of years. Physically, it is composed of graphite flakes, either ferrite, pearlite or a combination of the two. It continues to be the most recognized form of cast iron.

The metallurgy of Cast Gray Iron can be adjusted to make the product harder or softer to suit your specific application. In addition, alloy additions and secondary processes, such as annealing or heat-treating, can be used to affect the properties of the gray iron casting.

We have the capability to pour custom castings from a few ounces to 3,000 pounds. We produce various mold sizes with green sand molding processes, utilizing Hunters, Squeezer, and Rota-Lift systems. Our experienced and knowledgeable staff, along with our modern production methods, including our own in-house metallurgical testing and heat-treating capabilities and new furnaces installed in 2009, increase production efficiency with faster melt time.
