Job Description: The Contract Manufacturing Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing relationships with external metal fabrication and processing partners to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products. This role oversees contract negotiation, supplier performance, cost control, and capacity planning while ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and applicable industry regulations. The manager works closely with internal engineering, quality, supply chain, and sales teams to align contract manufacturing capabilities with production needs, resolve quality or delivery issues, and drive continuous improvement across the metals supply base.
Required Experience: - Experience with CNC lathes and mills a plus - Ability to read blue prints and drawings. - 3 or more years of CNC programming experience. - Advanced knowledge of CAD/CAM software (i.e. Surfcam, Edgecam, Matercam) - Experience using 3D modeling software (Solidworks preferred)
